Why Beneath the Fig Tree?

As a licensed psychotherapist in Nevada, I have decades of experience walking alongside people through their hardest stories.

I've worked with survivors of trauma, neglect and abuse of all ages- many of whom carried their stories in silence for years. Fiction became my way of honoring these stories while honoring the complexity of healing and justice.

I am also a mother of two and grandmother of five. Creativity - whether through writing, poetry, mosaic design or therapeutic work - has always been a sacred outlet for me.

My debut novel, *Fleur de Lis, was born from this intersection: the ache of trauma, the reckoning with silence, and the search for redemption.

Just as Jesus saw Nathaniel beneath the fig tree, I hope this space helps you

feel seen, heard, and maybe even a little less alone.
